Maha Manifestation Yoga
A Yoga for all levels of spirit-inflow development.

The reason for yoga has always been to prepare the physical, emotional and mental
awareness levels for an engagement with planes higher than what is currently called normal.
India, China, Tibet, Arabia, Persia, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, and many other ancient civilizations,
have engaged with certain ritual-like exercises that are meant to enhance receptivity to these
higher energy in humankind. The presentation and practice of these exercises take on a life of
their own, becoming the main focus of those involved. Subsequently, real meaning and purposes
are easily forgotten.
Though considered magical by our present sensibilities, ancient theories have within them
a knowledge that inspires us to recognize that humanity has an energetic component within. The
engagement with, and the use of energy, seems somewhat esoteric, but this energetic reference is
closer to a meta-physical orientation than fantastical. The degree of an individual's awareness of
these forces is the factor which enables them to become more or less interested in this approach.
Thus, practices which enable an individual to become sensitive to such an enhancement, whether
mental, emotional, or physical, have always been the subject of great interest.
However, measurement of such awareness still lies outside the realm of objective
materialism, while imagination and grand claims rest within the subjective expression of all.
Therefore, a strong personalized component, though necessary, makes this esoteric reality
suspect at best. Subjective declarations based on a plethora of concepts bring forward
assessments by those with little or no personal energetic experience. This is a natural reactive
response. One tends to negate the experience of others if one has no experience that
approximates it. However, if one does have experience, even to a minor degree, there begins a
progressive development within. A process, through which one gains access to an awareness of
levels beyond the material physical, emotional and mental levels, unfolds. To enhance this
awareness many have emphasized meditation, prayer and physical or mental practices of various
kinds.
What is "right" or "wrong" is based on beliefs and actions of those who have been part of
a cultural direction, as dictated by times, geographical locations, and receptivity to new ideas or
perceptions. Many organizations are inclined to build ideological bridges between concepts,
ages, and possible new states of awareness. However, these bridges can also become reified,
stiffening their resolve counter to their initial purposes, insisting that their unchanging truths are
the only ones to be considered. Nonetheless, these ideas are considered and used by those who
recognize and use the ideas and exercises that serve as bridges into other levels of consciousness.
At the same time, others negate anything that cannot be seen, felt, heard or materially proved by
current technology. This ebb, flow and change is part of the nature of the activity of a creative
movement which some call an evolution of developing ideas meant to enhance humanity's
potential.
Such a spirit of change is defined by the individual as personal experience. When enough
experience relating to the existence of more subtle levels exists throughout humanity, ideas about
its reality may change. Acceptance will be stronger. Emotional, mental and physical maturity
will be needed to deal with the influx of sensory information at the developing individual's
disposal. This indeed may be considered an evolutionary step forward.
Consideration of sub-atomic particles now lies within the realm of Sub-Atomic Particle
Physics, the study and investigation of the rules and regulations pertaining to the order and the
underlying principles of all existence. Though not necessarily focussed on this more meta-
physical component, this scientific theory presents an idea-link from a common solid physical fixation to a less solid, energetic and theoretical research question. This inquiry into the origins
of life, denoted as essence in western philosophy, has its beginnings in philosophers such as
Anaximandes, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and others. The idea of life force existing within breath
was considered by Anaximandes in early Greek philosophy and continually added to by later
thinkers. However, breath and its relationship with life essence was not anything new to East
Indian, Buddhist and Taoist yoga practices. These activities are considered by some to have
begun as early as eight to ten thousand years ago. Many great Masters or Teachers of the use and
development of these internal powerful forces have attempted to share the cultivation and
understanding of these forces with others. Awareness of this energy is still rare for most people.
Generally, the energetic inquiry is based on an urge to improve the lot of, and increase the
level of spiritual or energetic flow in, individuals. Various meditation and yoga styles, both
stationary or in motion, have been developed for these purposes. New methods continue to
develop out of traditional forms. Only awareness and experience will enable one to be aware of
their effectiveness. The use of such forces by humanity, toward its more refined potential, begs
the need for a new level of maturity within. Good luck and good practices to all.
